# Zapier

> Connect Kelviq to Zapier to automate work across your other apps

Use Zapier to connect Kelviq to the rest of your tools without writing code, for example to send a team message or update a spreadsheet when something happens in Kelviq.

## Connect Kelviq to Zapier

1. Open **Settings → Integrations**.
2. Click **Configure in Zapier**. Zapier opens in a new tab.
3. Sign in to Zapier, or create a free account, and accept the invitation to use the Kelviq app.
4. In Zapier, create a Zap and choose **Kelviq** as the app. Pick the event you want, then connect your Kelviq account when Zapier asks.

The Kelviq app on Zapier is available by invitation, so it won't show up in Zapier's app search until you've accepted the invitation from step 3.

## Prefer code?

If you'd rather handle events in your own backend, use [webhooks](/guides/webhooks). Kelviq sends each event with its full payload to your server.
